BACKGROUND
Caribou Cargo has been privileged to be able to dedicate time and resources to HARS since their acquisition of the retired aircraft for the RAAF.
Not everyone can travel to the southern NSW Coast to visit HARS and view the extensive and impressive range of aircraft and aviation memorabilia. However, the aircraft is able to visit other locations, so it only makes sense that with adequate funding, more of the Australian population will be able to view and appreciate the aircraft.
We hope to develop an annual calendar which will plan for 2 trips a year to various locations to coincide with relevant commemorative events to add that extra touch to the event.
A bold plan indeed, however the importance of the HARS aircraft in military and aviation history is deserving of the effort. With your assistance, we can ensure that the Caribou will continue to be present at events and air shows for many years to come.
THANK YOU
The hard working volunteers at HARS and Caribou Cargo appreciate any assistance or referrals for potential sponsors to make this event a success.
