Aug 1964 Departed Toronto for RAAF Richmond, this aircraft was abruptly halted at Butterworth and sent to Vietnam, arriving Aug 1964.
Aug 1964 Assigned to RAAF Transport Flight Vietnam (RTFV) and stationed in Vietnam until 30 Aug 1967
1 Jul 1966 Assigned to 35 Squadron
Aug 1966 Landed short and hit the lip of the runway at Ba To, Vietnam. Repaired and stationed in Vietnam until Feb 1972
Unknown Withdrawn from service and broken down for spares.
Last Reported Now resides at the Queensland Air Museum in Caloundra, Queensland and is being assembled for a static display.

In May 1965, when landing at Hay Tien, Vietnam, mud on windscreen blinded pilots and aircraft was badly damaged. The wing, undercarriage and prop were replaced and the aircraft flew out.

Was stored at RAAF Amberley in QLD.

The fuselage was delivered to the QLD Aviation Museum at Caloundra February 2002 with the rest of the aircraft delivered in April 2002.
- The wings and tail off A4-164 from RAAF Richmond were delivered to the QAM in October 2002 and are now fitted.
